Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom Specs and Photo Leaked

Last year the Galaxy S4 make which was transformed into a full line-up devices and it seems that the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S5 will have the same faith. Rumor has it that the Korea-based phone maker is planning to introduced a couple of Galaxy S5 spin-offs.

After we’ve heard reports saying that a Galaxy S5 Active and a Galaxy S5 Mini are in the works, now we have further information about a third Galaxy S5 variant, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom camera phone. A hands-on photo of the handset leaked online, also informing that the next-gen camera phone developed by the Korean company might go on sale as Galaxy K Zoom.
In addition to the leaked photo, the folks Sammobile got their hands on a few Galaxy S5 Zoom AnTuTu benchmark screenshots that also reveal some of the the terminals technical specifications.
According the the aforementioned source the successor of the S4 Zoom will be underpinned by Samsung’s six-core Exynos 5 Hexa CPU, while the back panel will accommodate a 20.2 MP camera.
The purported Samsung Galaxy S5 specs list also includes a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED scree with 1280 x 720 resolution (most likely the same unit that was fitted two years ago on the Galaxy S3), and 2 GB of RAM, microSD cards support. The handset will reportedly leave the factory gates pre-loaded with Android 4.4.2 KitKat, but there are no details regarding any S5 Zoom-specific software features.

Other reports say that the 20.2 MP shooter mounted on the back of the smartphone will boast about OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), Xenon flash, and support for 10x optical zoom. The handset will arrive with all the connectivity features worthy of a modern smartphone, including WiFi 802.11 ac.
Unfortunately, there is no way to verify the accuracy of the report, therefore we are advising you to take it with a pinch of salt, as nothing is official until Samsung says so.
